Save on Your Disney World Hotel
Saving some cash when you go to Disney World might seem to be a contradiction in terms, but with a little smart planning and preparation, you can have an enjoyable trip to Florida without running up a huge bill.
The DisneyWorld Resort is absolutely huge, covering almost 50 total miles just outside Kissimmee, Florida. There are four gigantic amusement areas, Epcot, MGM, Animal Kingdom, and the Magic Kingdom. With so much to see, tourists almost always spend at least a week just to take it all in. Disney has built more than 14 resorts just to take care of everyone visiting the area.
Fortunately, Disney executives recognize that people are searching for different things when going to Orlando. For this reason, they have hotels that fit everyone’s budget. Hotels are separated into Value, Moderate, and Deluxe levels. Value is sort of the Walt Disney way of saying inexpensive, but customers will not be let down, as the Disney Value resorts are clean and comfortable. Moderate resorts are definitely nicer, promising bigger living areas and sit down dining on the property.
Deluxe resorts at Disney World are top of the line accommodations designed to please and placate any visitor. Many of the resorts such as the Contemporary Resort and Yacht Club are on the monorail, so you can simply ride to Epcot without having a car or taking a bus. Rooms are much bigger, and the Disney environment is of course magical.
How should you go about picking a Disney Hotel? Well would you rather use your hard earned cash on souvenirs or indulge your family with the best, after all you are on holiday? Value rooms like the Pop Century Hotel can cost anywhere from $75 to $110 per night, while top end Resorts start from $200 and go higher from there. As you can tell, if you multiply that by 5 to 11 days, you could end up spending hundreds extra just for a nicer place.
The option belongs to the visitor, but no matter what you decide, tourists will be sure Disney World cast members will do their best to be sure you and your family have a great time.
